Custom Application Operator
CLARK AGRI SERVICE is a family owned business based in Wellandport, ON which provides inputs (seed, fertilizer, crop protection products) and custom application services to growers in the Haldimand, Hamilton-Wentworth and Niagara areas. We are looking for a hardworking, resourceful individuals.
Job Duties:
- Perform crop protection and fertilization applications via self-propelled sprayers and Spinner machines
- Provide high quality, intricate and detailed custom application services for growers
- Maintain fertilizer spreading and crop protection spraying logs
- Communicate with support vehicles and office staff
- Perform general maintenance where needed (equipment, spreaders, grain elevator)
- Assist in soil sampling, putting up field signs and customer service
Requirements:
- Commercial spray licence or ability to obtain
- Nutrient application license or ability to obtain
- Good understanding of agricultural practices and farm equipment
- Team player, good communication skills, highly organized, dependable
- Willing to work long hours during the ‘spring rush’, not afraid to get your hands dirty!
- Clean driving record, ‘G’ license or ability to obtain
- Experience driving ATV’s
